The Malinois
|
For the past 10 years we have been breeding Malinois, carefully choosing and combining some of the oldest and best lines available. Our kennel, registered by FCI as "(De) Booischothoeve", is known to strive to maintain the fantastic breed which the original Malinois is.
Our Malinois are used by their owners in top-level security-work, as well as different sports such as Belgian Ring, Belgian Field Work (the toughest canine sport), French ring, KNPV, IPO, Agility, Canine Flying Disc Sports, and of course obedience.

The Australian Shepherds
|
Our love for Australian Shepherds dates back as far as 1980, when I met the first Australian Shepherd I ever saw "Dingo". I worked with the dog for 1 year, during my stay in the US, and immediately fell in love with the breed.
An unknown breed in Belgium, so I was thrilled to find my first one in Belgium in the year 2000. A beautifull bitch called "Dempsy of the Maureibo". She was everything I remembered from the breed, and more. Unfortunately she died in a car-accident at the age of two.
At this time the breed was gaining popularity rapidly, but mostly as show-dogs, while we were interested in the working lines. We therefore went to look for dogs in their original country (the US), and found our present female there.
Although we never intended to breed Australian Shepherds (or Aussies, as they are called), we got so many demands, we decided to breed one or two litters with Flash (Cutn' Loose Red Ryder)...
The first litter was with John Doe
Aussies are known for their extremely loyal character, their hard drive, and high intelligence. They make great family-dogs, if kept active. Luckily enough they are almost perfect for whatever sport, or activity you would like to use them for. Originally they are bred to herd cattle, and horses.
